I never read nor seen the book or movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower. One of my friends said this reminded him of it and I thought I might as well show others. A wallflower is one of the most beautiful things, But it is hard to see. For a wallflower is too shy to bloom alone, It is afraid the other weeds will choke it and the bees will ignore it For it is different then the other plants. Though once the wall flowers roots cross with another Fearlessly they open letting out every color found on their petals. The bees will stop in their tracks Seeing a sight they never knew could exist. Soon a forest of wall flowers will rise up and show their colors too Realizing they are not alone, Some will rise right out of a patch of weeds, and Others from the vast waste land. Finally their numbers will over run the weeds Releasing a scent which mingles with the rest Showing just how beautiful their kind can be. I am Makayla, and I am a wallflower.
