I never thought that I would be able to celebrate this great day as a Marine alongside fellow brothers and sisters. Its an amazing feeling to have earned the right to wear the uniform, to be recognized as a Marine, to have such pride, to be apart of one of the best traditions, and to be amongst the ranks of some true warriors. Today marks the birth of our beloved Corps and honoring our proud lineage of warriors. 239 years of romping, stomping, hell, and just pure winning. Our birthday has been a yearly reminder of the brave spirit that has compelled young men and women to defend our nation and its interests for more than two centuries. On this day, every Marine who serves or who has served is entitled to the words, Happy Birthday, Marine. And a piece of sugary sweet birthday cake ;) OOHRAH DEVILS! Were looking damn good for 239!
