I never understood the critique of someone not original. We all are nothing more than a mesh of what our parents, TV, books, and society teaches us. I was in a conversation with someone who told me my boy isnt funny because hes copying me. I saw the persons point but again who isnt like someone else in a way... when I was 10 i used to walk and talk like ace ventura and put my spin on Eddie Murphys jokes, i would rap like cool g rap and later eminem to this day, i often tell a story like Doug Stanhope or tell a joke like Carlin. Maybe Im a basic nigga..... and you know what i still love myself... and if my son is happy with himself acting like me ... thats all that matters....
