I nominate Muhammad Matib Ahmad for President. Also Yusra Aurangzeb if she is into such things. I know Im an outsider technically but regardless I feel that these three people are more than deserving of their positions. Matib is just a general good hearted person. I feel that he would inspire the new upcoming freshman and people that join the MSA. Also being a person of knowledge he could greatly serve the community and get many people involved in various activities. He has a very calm and respectful approach to everything as far as Ive seen and I think that is a very valuable characteristic to have in a leader. Handling a challenge or difficulty takes patience and handling it well also requires great insight which I believe Matib can provide. Also I equally would like to add that Yusra would make an amazing president. From what little Ive gotten to know of her these past few weeks, Ive found someone that takes ownership of anything she pursues. Being a part of something and taking ownership is something so substantial. By taking ownership you being to provide so much more for the community or what organization that you represent. You start to say This is my home instead of This is theirs, why should I do this. There is a big distinction in the two and I feel that an msa needs someone that would go above and beyond to do what they need to for the msa. Also Yusra does well under pressure and can get serious if she needs to and direct people as needed. But the manner in which she does so is very respectful as well. Anyways sorry for the rant. But between the two I think inshaAllah this MSA will be set. Those are just my two cents. But again Im just some random guy from the west side of town.
