I normally dont rant on facebook but here goes. My wife Maisie Duncan is a dedicated and talented teacher, who spends considerable personal time and a portion of our finances helping to educate high school students, who one day will help shape the world we all live in. If you are a parent it is your responsibility to hold your child accountable for his or her education and in turn also your responsibility as a parent to monitor and track in a timely manner your childs education. Parents should know what their child is doing in school all the time not just when grades come out and you start to freak out that little Johnny or Jane is failing, your solution to this is to blame the educator because of whatever excuse or fabrication your child has come up with. My wife like many teachers can do many things with there education but they wanted to teach, they did not pick this noble profession to babysit your out of control children. Be a parent and raise your children, if you elect not to, do not complain to their teachers for doing their job because you failed to do yours.
