I noticed the words EXTANT, EXTENT, and EXTINCT messed up twice in - TopicsExpress

I noticed the words EXTANT, EXTENT, and EXTINCT messed up twice in just one week. This error is problematic. EXTANT (Latin, "existing") is an adjective that means surviving, as in "the extant manuscripts were rescued from the flood." EXTENT (Latin, "extend") is a noun; it is the amount that something extends, as in "I have reached the extent of my patience." EXTINCT (Latin, "extinguished") is an adjective, meaning no longer in existence, as in "the dinosaur is extinct." To examine the existence and extent of the excess extant exhibitions, exorcise, exonerate, or exculpate the now-extinct examinees (except the excitable exiles). Exeunt!
