I personally never thought of Mr. Robin Williams as a comedian. Maybe because I did not like his comic style - it always appeared to me too much over the top, too ludicrous, too hectic and exaggerated for making me laugh. But I deeply appreciated him seeing in his non-comic roles - when showing love, compassion, desperation, sadness and even madness with an intensity hardly matched by any other actor I know. His appearances in Seize the Day and the Bicentennial Man made quite an impression on me. Sadly, very sadly, Mr. Williams commited suicide yesterday.
