I pity those who always depend solely on prophets or pastors when they have any critical decision to take,like choice of marriage partner and others and so on .One thing u Dnt know is prophets or pastors are not always in the spirit.There are tyms when they get it wrong not because God has forsaken them but due to some factors on their own part.Samuel was a great prophet.Everything He said came to pass cos Gods anointing upon him was heavy (1sam3v19),yet when he was to choose Gods anointed in 1sam16v6 he missed it.He even said surely...I.e He was 100%sure but God said no.So u can see Ur prophets a times might not know Gods will for Ur life.In 1cor2v9-10 the bible says God reveals his plans to us through His spirit in us and not through Prophets.U av to develop urself spiritually to the point that u understand Gods voice (jer33v3,ps25v14)Cos many have fallen into the pit of calamities, catastrophe, regrets cos dey followed false prophets advice.Understand that(2cor11v14 says Satan a times transforms into angel of light).Develop and commit Ur ways to God and be sensitive to His leading before going to meet prophets for further confirmation especially in the area of marriage...cos the devil is inflicting so many people and truncating peoples destiny by orchestrating wrong choice.Be wise.
