I planned to take Andrew to an Irish pub in Donelson to celebrate St. Patricks Day with some traditional Irish music and cuisine. However, he attended a concert in the city last night with his church youth group, and didnt get home until just before midnight. Which means I slept only five hours last night. Ive come to the conclusion that Im too fargin old to bother pretending that I can sleep for five hours, work a ten-hour day, and then go out on the town. So were celebrating tomorrow instead. But its all good: unlike most of the other drunken revelers tonight, were Irish all 365 days of the year, and the Scotch eggs and shepherds pie will be just as tasty tomorrow.
