I posted this a long while ago and its on my JunkMarket page too. However, when I mentioned my husbands sweet tolerance for my junking habit I thought you newbies here might like to see how my junking has influenced him. He built a fence around our backyard while he worked from home and cared for me during my chemo treatments. The fence boards are from a large number of horse stalls that were torn down...we even left some stall numbers on them. The main gate is an old screen door from a 100 year old house. The gate was even his idea...hes catching on, or giving in...cant decide which. :-) Im an art teacher and artist...I have to have things a little funky so he left the boards uneven. We are asked all the time when we are going to cut them off...its fun to say...never. Only junkers and artist understand its OK to be a bit funky.
