I pray for peace. Not peace For Israel and not peace For Palestine. Just peace. Our media coverage is lopsided, and the idea that there is one aggressor and one victim in this conflict is ridiculous. To all you human rights activists, take a moment to think about the asymmetry of power that has developed between Israel and Palestine. Think of the fact that for each Israeli death that is reported in our media, up to a dozen Palestinian deaths go unreported. There is a culture of silence surrounding the loss of Palestinian lives, and it does nothing to stem this flow of violence. If were going to speak about the conflict, let us speak on behalf of both sides, and listen on behalf of both sides - or let us not speak at all.
