I preface with an admition of being a rabid 12 monkeys fan.. I love the time travel genre.. and 12 monkeys is the best in its field. I should have prefaced that Im also a fan of multiple univereses as explained by physics.. so multiple outcomes also intrigue. Maybe I should have prefaced with paradoxs, because being a fan of the movie by terri gilliam and I was cynical about syfys new series.. 12 monkeys.. theres a very real paradoxal situation. Maybe.. I should have prefaced with.. I just watched the 1st ep. And My last preface wish.. I dont play the what if game.. what if I had only done that.. its bullshit.. this happened and then this happened due connection or just the randomness of the universe.. that followed.. yet if one could only go back in time.. I blame the duality of man.. the jungian thing.. for this percepetion... But.. My review.. and I listed my credentials above.. is that if you can accept this is a new universe with what seems to be a distant respect to the cannon of the original movie while understanding this is a series.. and so will be spreading this story for... well lets be glad its not on fox.. a while..its not to bad. Casting, directing and cam seem to be on track.. 1st ep does seem to require some exposure to gilliam.. but does a nice simplified explanation for the virgins..
