I rarely listen to Christian contemporary music, though it means well, to praise, and though the musicians are good, it is a rarity for the musicianship to be stellar. Content over form, and I need both. I can name a few who were stellar and are stellar [oddly enough, secular music, imho, produced the best rock in the 70s, as well as the best Christian rock]: SOME MAJOR TALENT.....Janny Grein [bar owner and singer on Beale St. originally], Don Fransisco [folk], Barry McGuire [yes, of Vietnam days], Phil Keaggy [jazz], Michael Omartian [somewhere between Emerson Lake and Palmer meets Dan Fogelberg] https://youtube/watch?v=N9snlOE-V7w
