I rarely write a long post. If you dont care or dont have the time, browse on in the world of Facebook. If you dont claim to be a follower of Jesus Christ, please move on. But if you do, please read and hear my heart today. Are you a sell out, or are you sold out? I will let you determine which you are, but I am discouraged by the faith of some who seem to have blended into the culture of our world more than being transformed into the image of Christ. If I have represented that to any of you, forgive me. I want to live above that! We sell out when we make excuses for our lack of devotion. We sell out by accepting the labels that people put on us or by listening to the accuser of the brothers, the devil, as he whispers condemnation into our ears. We sell out when we have given up on God and His promises and we blame him for abandoning us. We sell out when we allow 100s of other obsessions and gods consume our thoughts, attention, finances and time. We sell out when we lukewarmly accept less from our devotion, commitment and service to God and Christs church. Being sold out for God and Jesus Christ is totally the opposite. When you are sold out it will become obvious to yourself, me and everyone else. No one will question your position nor your faith. Are you a sell out or sold out?
