I read quite a bit about PTSI (Post Traumatic Stress Injury) and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). I have them both from being wounded in Iraq. I also keep in touch with a few of the men I served with. I also see the Welfare style feel and treatment at the VA. All the IED (Improvised Explosive Device) attacks, close mortars and explosions take their toll on people. They may have never been directly hit. Just close calls here and there and another head ache... This is concussion. Head aches, ear aches and tooth aches. Just shake that shit off and drive on... A lot of these men have TBI and PTSI. They will isolate and withdraw... Other symptoms range all over the place. Just talking a bit. I posted a story below... Now that we have seen how we are to be taken care of after the wars. Dont send us over seas to be police officers in a war zone! The State side police have more rights to protect themselves than a Soldier / Marine in a war zone. If they need ROE, Rules Of Engagement, Dont send them! They just come back home all tore up!
