I realize that it is difficult but important to differentiate between statues and real people. In these photos, its hard because nothing moves. However, from my experience, statues are normally the same color as the surrounding rocks. Real people, on the other hand, by reason, wear colored clothing and their skin and hair are usually different from the surroundings. So heres a good example of the two. See if you can tell the difference. A little color enhancement helps. And of course, statues could be painted with color. But also, statues usually have striking poses, not just candid meaningless poses. sol 306 (reposting this so it doesnt get lost.)
