I realize that today is New Years Day but I also know that Thursday is also known far and wide as “Throw ‘em Back Thursday.” This morning we are reaching back almost 5 years. The two videos that I’m posting occurred on a cleanup day that the Crew and I had to get ready for some upcoming adventures. In order to get the full effect you’ll need to watch “75 tons of mud” before you watch “The Ride.” (The Ride will automatically follow the first video so be patient) If you watch and listen carefully you will catch that in 2010 our contest there was called “Baron of the Bridge.” You will also notice that the area is an ever changing, constantly moving entity. Different trees down across the river. Sand bars below our spot are completely different, etc. Being early March the Sycamores were just beginning to bud. Later on some of these leaves will get 9-12 inches across. Sadly enough, hundreds of people cross the Dick Lane Bridge every day and have no idea of the beauty and abundance of life that flows below them.
