I realized a few years ago that it is important to plan & prepare for gifts from God. I mean real, tangible plans. Not the fantasies & abstract ideas that one just says are dreams....but really plan for a gift from God. Then expect the blessing to manifest in your life. Well, Im tired of waiting for God to just up & give me my dreams. Thats not how it works. I must have a plan! I must pray through a plan! I must prepare the fields for a harvest to ever be possible. So how do you do that??? I have no idea, but I do know that the only thing holding me back from my dreams is money, money, money, money! So, if I want God to finance my dreams, I have to give Him something to finance. I also know that my will must be lined up with His. Therefore, I am going to step out & start the process of receiving by planning as if I had already received. To be worthy of an investment, I must show strong character/integrity & a solid, thought-out plan. I mean, I would only invest under those circumstances. Why would I expect God to do any different. The bible shows me the following examples.... 1.) There was no water until ditches were dug. (2 Kings 3:16-17) 2.) There was no oil until vessels were gathered. (2 Kings 4:3) 3.) There was no healing until the leper had dipped seven times. (2 Kings 5:10) 4.) There was no harvest until the ground had been broken up. (Hosea 10:12) 5.) There can be healing without obedience. (John 9:7) 6.) There was no fish dinner until the people had sat down. (Matthew 14:19) 7.) There was no Messiah until way had been prepared. (Isaiah 40:3) 8.) There could be no resurrection of Lazarus until the stone was removed. (John 11:39) 9.) There can be no salvation until repentance has taken place. (Luke 13:3) 10.) There will be no entrance into heaven without the blood of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 7:13-14) So, as of today, I embark on a journey of preparation. A step of faith & a drive to have my destiny fulfilled while reaching for the stars. Keeping my heart soft & my eyes focused upward! To God be the glory as I take this leap!!!
