I really agree with this. I am a Chief Judge in Guilford County, Greensboro, NC and I feel I am doing my job when I am able to process the voter and get the voter to the machine to vote. Sometimes I assist the process if the voter is taking too long because they are having trouble with the machine or being able to read the names or instructions. Ideally, it should only take about 3 to 4 min for each voter to vote. I also have sample ballots so they can have their minds made up when they get to the machine. NC will have a difficult time next election due to the early voting schedule being shortened and the number of sites being less. It will be a long hard day for me and my assistants.
