I really dont like when people say God never gives you more than you can handle. It isnt true. If God didnt give you more than you could handle then why would you need him? Tell that to someone who has been diagnosed with cancer, someone who just lost a child, a best friend, or a parent. We are human. We arent supposed to be able to handle things on our own. We are supposed to rely on God to get us through those things and then we will get through them. Everything is for the glory of God. There is a much bigger picture to this thing we call life. This is not our forever home. We are only here for a very short time. Some of the greatest people in the Bible were poor, sick, persecuted and they had faith that there was something better than this. Really what do you have to lose? We will all parish from this earth and we will all either go to heaven or hell. You only get one chance to chose what road you will take. Choosing to follow Christ is not easy. You will have hard times, you will get sick, you will make mistakes, you may be persecuted, and you will be given things you cant handle. There is good news for that. We have a mighty God who will be there to hold your hand and get you through those things. This is not my forever home.
