I really enjoy the work & perspective of Richard Rohr & his Center for Action and Contemplation. A friar in the Franciscan Order & ordained by the #Catholic church, this man speaks of equality, harmony, unity, integrity & honoring the teachings of love & community in ways that have even challenged the #Vatican at times. He speaks such truth that whomever he offends can see it in his eyes & know what they are up against. The offense usually comes from inside the offended individual themselves, when confronted with pure sincerity. Rohr has a way of cutting through the dysfunctions of egoic perspective, in order to get to the true heart of a topic. A spiritual analyst of #UniversalLaw - and cause & effect. His love of community, peace & articulate #logic have a way of silencing all doubt about the mans sincerity, intention, and message. I dont personally believe that humility means groveling & lowering oneself, but that it is itself, the gift of discernment. This should not bend, but straighten the spines of those who walk within sincerity. I like Richard Rohr because his sincerity, #compassion, intelligence & #wisdom show in his well grounded, thorough, analytical, yet easy to comprehend approach. I have great respect for anyone who shows that #Peace is not passive, but rather when harnessed, grounded & centralized as priority, it is in fact, a most powerful force.
