I really fail to understand why they have race selecters the way they do in online applications, most seem to look like the one I am doing right now that says: Select I choose not to disclose White (not Hispanic or Latino) Black or African American (not Hispanic or Latino) Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander (not Hispanic or Latino) Hispanic or Latino Asian (not Hispanic or Latino) American Indian or Alaskan Native (not Hispanic or Latino) Two or More Races (not Hispanic or Latino) I mean what the french toast?!?! ^^^ I am part hispanic (Puerto Rican) I cant even put two or more races without admiting to not being Latino? Why is it so important NOT to be Latino anywho? I do not understand this type of selection if someone could fill me in, I would much appreciate it, untill then, I will simply choose not to disclose.
