I really liked the movie American Sniper. Statistically 22 Veterans commit suicide every day in our country and there really has not been alot national focus to PTSD. I thought this movie brought extreme well needed focus to our Vets and specifically PTSD. I will say this movie shows a very blunt attitude of Navy Seals through these wars which I appreciated a film not trying to be politically correct but provide some idea of what our Men and Women who choose to pic up arms and defend our great Nation went through and go through as I post this. I always find it sad when people are disrespectful and use freedom of speech which our Service Men and Women who laid down their lives and the sacrifices of the wounded seen or unseen including PTSD gave up for your right to criticize them how you see fit. These people who honorably served and honorably discharged deserve to be treated with respect and dignity including their families. My Father served In the Navy and he was proud of his service and we are proud of his service as well. Veterans day is EVERYDAY in my mind. If you dont like the film or have negative comments please dont comment as Im not looking for a debate but rather I wanted to just give my thoughts on the movie.
