I really wish I could make it. Man, I remember when for 15 bucks worth of gas, a little herb, some bologna, a tent and a grateful attitude could get me and 5 other heads into a show, and a ride to the next one....then came Touch Of Grey. Now for my wife and I to attend 3 nights in Chicago, it would cost four grand after the rooms, tix, travel, eats, and the 20 dollar bills that seem to just disappear. You locals enjoy, and you travelers be safe and kind. There will be a lot of 65 year old road warriors, and a lot of wookies. But if everyone is kind, the the music and the vibe will be one to remember. Hey, Id rather not have Trey, but the boys obviously know more than us. So us old folks lets let the kids have fun, and show em how we did it. And you kids, carry on. Carve your own special way just like we did. But please respect the traditions of the old heads, and remember if the band is 70, so are a lot of fans. Phish and Dead, Phans and Heads, we can all coexist and expand our horizons. LET THERE BE SONGS, TO FILL THE AIR!
