I received a couple of PMs earlier in a solicitation of my thoughts on the imminent Jefferson, Missouri grand jury decision expected to be announced this evening. I personally do business with 34 municipal police and county sheriff departments throughout the Western Carolina, Northeast Georgia and South Carolina upstate regions. Having said such, I am partial to and supportive of law enforcement personnel for the most part and in the case of the Jefferson, MO shooting, given the preponderance of evidence offered to date by a vast majority of eyewitnesses, I believe that the officer in question was completely and justifiably correct in shooting the black thug who assailed him in his cruiser and then charged him when a demand came to stop. If this grand jury renders a guilty verdict, claiming by their decision to place this man on trial, it will be a travesty of justice, the likes of which I have never seen. It will initiate another media circus and once again distract the public from our biggest problem, the complete fraud seated in the White House. This officer was stunned and frightened for his life and should be heralded as a hero for saving the taxpayers from paying for another prison bed. So, as I tell Kelly Trafford Marshall all the time, There you have it. Opinion given.
