I recently discovered that this petition was tweeted on twitter and some people are not very happy about it. They claimed that its all rumors and not facts. But they never did say what part they felt was rumor. Perhaps they were speaking out fear because what is called a black issue is being addressed to a black president. The purpose behind that is not in expectation that he will do what is requested because the demands stated here, really ought to be sent to the Attorney General, Eric Holder. But Eric Holder is resigning and confirmation of a new Attorney General is a process that will create delays concerning this action. Therefore, it is deliberately being sent to the president to put PRESSURE UPON him concerning an issue that he has ducked and dodged for long enough. And although he has done so, he is despised and hated just as if he had. Now generally, in a situation like this, when you are despised and hated for what you did not do you usually go ahead and do it. But we are not banking on the morals of the president concerning this action. We are banking on THE FACTS! And the fact of the matter is BOTH attorneys in the Eric Garner case and the Michael Brown case, had the power and authority and EVIDENCE - to CHARGE officers for these murders! It is also a FACT that they both REFUSED! It is also a FACT that turning EVIDENCE over to a Grand Jury without CHARGES - is highly unusual! So unusual, the prosecutor in NEW YORK CITY had to obtain special permission from the court in order to do it! It is also a FACT that the EVIDENCE these two prosecutors have given the GRAND JURY is being kept secret. And the total discretion of what is being given the Grand Jury, is up to the prosecutors themselves. There is NOBODY able to vouch for the integrity of the evidence being presented but the grand jury is expected to determine whether or not the officers should be CHARGED with MURDER based upon it. That means if a prosecutor does wish to see officers CHARGED - he can direct the decision of the GRAND JURY, based upon what he submits in as EVIDENCE! And while we would all hope that the two prosecutors in this case would do the right thing by presenting all available evidence, they have already done the wrong thing by refusing to CHARGE the officers with murder, when it is their responsible and job to do! If EVIDENCE was lacking, by which to CHARGE them with murder, then they would have so. For they have done so far far too many in the past and REFUSED to charge an officer. But in these two cases, the EVIDENCE ABOUNDS! Nevertheless, they have not charged the officers with MURDER! But we are expected to believe the right thing concerning the evidence being given the Grand Jury will be done in both cases. It is a burden the public ought not have to bare in trust, for already, they have demonstrated their unwillingness to CHARGE these officers - even going to the courts to get permission to avoid doing so. When you compare what these two prosecutors have done by ignoring the evidence and refusing to charge with murder, and hold it up against prosecutors across the United States who prosecute those arrested by POLICE without any evidence against them, and coerce those defendants into coping a plea and pleading guilty, by threatening to keep them locked up in jail with an even longer sentence if they dont plead guilty - maybe then youll understand the travesty of Justice that is occurring. Blacks and Hispanics are routinely arrested, and falsely accused by POLICE! And although the prosecutor has NO EVIDENCE for the crime theyve been accused of, they are FORCED to plead guilty!! If they do not plead guilty, they will be returned to prison waiting for a trial to begin. When the trial dates arrives they offer a lesser sentence if they will plead GUILTY. If they do not plead GUILTY, the prosecutor tells the court hes not ready to begin trial and needs more time to gather evidence. MORE TIME is given - and the accused is sent back jail - for a CRIME he never committed and for which NO PROOF EXISTS! This continues for as many as 3-5 years for those REFUSING to plead guilty. Many given in far earlier than that and have a CRIMINAL RECORD for a crime never committed! Across the United States are POLICE who we know for a FACT - COMMITTED THE CRIME OF MURDER!! We also know for a FACT - Prosecutors across the nation have found NO WRONG DOING and REFUSED to CHARGE THEM! We also know for a FACT - the MURDERS of POLICE are INCREASING because of it! And if you do not understand the nature and the basis behind this PETITION and why I am also demanding NATIONAL ACTION AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY and MURDER, in conjunction with this petition, then there is really nothing else I can tell you to explain. Because if the above does not give you a CLEAR PICTURE of exactly what is going on, and the action needed and necessary to fight against it, nothing else will!
