I recently purchased a set of pre-seasoned skillets. My previous history with using CI is only in the area of dutch ovens during Boy Scout camps and outings. Ive had family who used skillets, and always wanted to, but only after finding this group have become motivated to do so. My question is what most peoples experience has been with pre-seasoned skillets or other CI? Should I still season the skillets myself, or are they likely to be good to go?
