I recently ran across this photo of a jeep which has obviously seen better days. This picture sparked an idea for a WWII Marine display for our group ( The 20th Century Marine ) which would feature three marine raiders on Bouganville camped out/ mulling around this half destroyed jeep. I think it would really make for an interesting display at WWII reenactments, something you do not see normally. But I need to acquire a set of fenders, windshield, dashboard, steering wheel, front frame section with steering components, grill and hood. However these parts do not need to be in good condition what so ever, infact parts that are unusable for restoration are preferred as I am wanting to do this project on the very cheap (which is why Im looking for unusable parts) and the parts need to look battered and left to rust in the jungle. If anyone happens to live by the area of Dekalb Il, and has any of these parts that they cant use on their own restoration, but dont want to see sent to a scrap yard, send me a PM on facebook, Im interested in using them.
