I refuse to give to foodbanks because I know very well that the reason why many people are being forced to use them is simply because of the actions of this stinking unelected vile Tory regime. I would rather see the homeless and starving rise up than be allowed to stay subservient to this Tory shit because we are donating to their charities for the poor. It is exactly what the Tories want .... a welfare state based on the charity of blue rinsed old ladies organizing collections for foodbanks and homeless charities whom the poor must write begging letters to or be referred to by the DWP in order to receive a few crumbs on their plates. It is my welfare state (one based on a contribution from each one of us) and does not belong to the Tories to do as they wish with it and I am going to make sure everyone that I meet is made aware of what they are trying to do with it.
