I remember 5 years ago today so clearly in my mind. I was working a long shift at work and I had just gotten back from lunch. Taco Bell was on the menu, but needless to say, as soon as I got done eating, it was not agreeing with me. But I pushed through -- appointment after appointment. At about 5 pm I could no longer take it and started to wonder if maybe I was in labor. I called Eli and then drove all the way home. Halfway back to Green Bay, I thought maybe it was just Taco Bell and we should go back home. Eli insisted we head to the hospital... Good thing too... My labor went quick and shortly before 10 p.m. our very first baby boy was in my arms. He is still one in a million and each and every day he amazes me. He has been an adventure all in his own, but it is one that I wouldnt trade for the world. Happy 5th Birthday my Max Man! We love you to the moon and back!
