I remember giving a new technology presentation about voice activated GPS technologies with concierge services and wearable communication technology that would control our lives at a MOBE conference back in 2001. Now 13 years later you have Siri, Samsung and Apple smart watch phone and jewelry that doubles as health monitors and mp3 devices. We live in an interconnected world where our daily activities are shared on a cloud that has our educational, health, banking and career data. Our homes and cars now communicate with each other and now we will soon live in a currency free world where personal wealth will reside in digital vaults managed by major corporations who act as financial conduits for every consumer transaction imaginable and credit will be managed by digital keys for all purchases. We are heading toward a two class system, the haves and the have nots. 80% of the population will live below the poverty level including people who earn $100k now. Just something to think about.
