I remember listening to this song just a short while after I left the school. Whereas in the lyrics its back to the old house I used to sing and hear it as back to the old *school*. I decided and was resolved to never go back to there, too many bad memories. But, as is the case with most rules, I broke my own vow and was invited back for a day in 1999 to see Mr Mudge. I guess it wasnt all bad, but I was keen to get as far away from the school and the whole area as soon as I could.
