I remember this day as if it were yesterday, my grandfather Stanley Bradford better known as Grandpa Tiny passed a as away. Wow 32 years and I will never forget the events of the day or the week to follow. MY GRANDFATHER had wanted only only 2 things the year he passed and one was my graduation (done) and Christmas. By the way family these were our goals not that he didnt have others so please dont take this wrong. On this morning I had to go to work and did not want to leave after listening to grandpa suffer all night, but mom insisted so I went. I Had to open the store and mid morning after several calls from customers an family members I was standing at the counter ringing up a sell and a very cold chill passed through me . I Had to return to the back before I regained myself, at that point I called home and received a busy signal, dad at work had left on a family emergency. When I finally reached my mom I asked if grandpa had been sent back to the hospital and where was dad, she explained dad was on the way to get me and I then replied grandpa died and was able to tell her the time of death close enough related to my shiver and events. We buried my so e coal grandpa on Christmas eve and the only regret is he was not here to witness the love of my life propose to me that evening . RIp always
