I remember when Freshwater swimming hole was the place to be on the weekends in the 80s and 90s. I used to love going there on the weekend and catch up with friends, eating watermelon and mangoes, swinging off rope that was on the tree and into the water and playing tiggy with new friends under the freshwater bridge and swimming under the pilons. I drive pass now and the swimming area is empty all the time. What ever happened to that place? why arent there families, teenagers going there anymore?
