I respect all religions (so long as they believe in being a good person and spreading love). In fact, I have friends who are from all walks of life and religious beliefs. But as a Christian, I wouldnt move to Pakistan (a country founded on Islamic beliefs) and expect them to remove all references to Islam in their society because I dont agree with it. Likewise, if you live in America, please dont expect us to remove our Christian references. Our founding fathers chose to put the word God and Christ in many of this countries important documents. You dont have to believe in God or Christ, but we shouldnt be removing those references to make someone else feel more comfortable. I think it goes so much further than city buildings and public parks. Were even teaching our children to not make waves and blend in so as to not offend anyone. What ever happened to being yourself? In a fundamental way, being so politically correct is stifling us as individuals.
