I returned from vacation today back to the shocking reality of our world. Jetskis and fast boats had me terrified, yet thoroughly entertained these past few days. I ate as I pleased, enjoyed as I pleased, and had no fear but my own actions on the water. So today, I returned back to harsh reality. With countless Palestinians martyred and thousands of others in various parts of the world murdered, Ive returned to my home speechless. Children live with the constant fear of their family members being killed or being taken away the very next day. Who can truly tell me they know what that fear feels like? Its disgusting that humanity allows this, and sitting quiet about injustice and oppression makes you just as guilty. Its truly a shame to seek sympathy for the crimes committed against you in the #Holocaust, only to turn around and commit those same atrocities to another group of people. Wake up humanity.
