I reviewed the 2014 Blood Tribe audit report and I have a couple of comments/questions. The amount of $$$ that Chief/Council received for travel/honorariums, seems very high. How is this justified? What kind of meetings/events did they attend to have gotten so much in expenses? Is the Tribe better off as a result of these meetings/events, and if so, how? It saddens me that perhaps we will never know the full answer my question. But thats ok, I have hope that maybe our next Chief and Council will be more transparent and honest. I admire our Provincial government in that transparency is achieved, just look at whats happening to ex-premier Alison Redford.
