I rode my Goldwing for the first time this season today. Brrrrrrr. The only reason I took it out was to diagnose the cruise control not working (for 2 years now). I spent over $150 last season at a repair shop and they couldnt find the problem without continuing the diagnosis and they said it could be expensive so I didnt do it. Low and behold, I googled it today (which only took me 5 minutes) and read that it could be the clutch lever not returning to the return position so I went for a ride, put on the cruise control and held the lever back out to the return position myself and the cruise control worked! Itll just be a $20 switch! Too bad the repair shop didnt try that before charging me $150 and not finding the problem anyway. TIP: GOOGLE YOUR PROBLEMS!!!
