I said a word or two on here yesterday about general quarters on a Navy ship. We were called to general quarters by a ships kloxan. To hear this sound at night while sound asleep will be with me to the end. Jump up grab your clothes and shoes life jacket and helmet and get to your station where ever it may be as quick as possible as you have found yourself in a situation where it’s we get him before he gets us. Have no idea if a Klaxon is still used.
