I said i wasnt gonna post my poems but then i got copyrights now. Anyone copies my work, i sue them, then they have to pay! So here goes- Untitled. I look out of my window. To the sunset near the horizon. To them floating on the skies. Flapping their wings in the air so high. . I look upon the city below. To the activity on the roads. I hear the children on the street. I hear the lovers , i hear them greet. . Near the farthest building my eye can see. Lies a place where i want to be. It may not be those pastures green. Where the old poets had been. . But it is my city. With all its noise and dust. All the metal and buildings grey. Where the old poets look with dismay. . For that was where they lived. And this is where i do. This is my sweet world. And near that building stays my pretty girl. . And love is what it was then. The heart beats the same way. Hearing her name, flushing color in my cheek. Even when my chances are meek. . She is my bonny lass. Though she is nothing like i am. Were as opposite as possibly could be. Different friends,tastes and she dislikes poetry. . Perhaps thats why i havent told her. And she knows naught more than my name. Just another boy bothering, i am to her. Unaware that she makes my heart stir. . The times may have changed. But love is still the same. Their hearts fell for fair maidens then. Today another falls for a pretty girl again. . Verse and emotions have not changed Affection exists just like in your time. That was your world when you were in love. And now that i am, this is mine. Goldenaire
