I saw it myself on Aug.29 when renewing license. None of the three people in front of me were granted IDs. All were obviously citizens. ..but there was red tape poured on them. Not enough proof although they all had birth certificate and other information. The person at the DPS INFO desk was rude, telling them that anyone that signed an affidavit as to their address had to come with them. It certainly is not an easy task for voters to get this form of ID in Texas. The whole thing should be thrown out. I would be glad to testify.
