I saw my oncologist today and had a full examination. In spite of the fact that I check very regularly (ok, I check every day - who can blame me?!) I now feel confident that all is ok and it is a good, good feeling. Ladies, never underestimate the importance of self examination and if there is anything that concerns you, consult your GP. My friend told me tonight that she had never checked herself so much as she has since she met me. That is a very good thing. If nothing else I am living proof that early diagnosis is paramount in the treatment of breast cancer. Treat your breasts to a little TLC - thats touch, look, check xxx
