I saw the reality of something which I have known for quite some time, but until now it was just an idea...a vague idea of what my experiences were leading up to. But I finally understand it. Everything happens for a reason. EVERYTHING. No matter how awful we think it is, the things which happen in our lives are there to teach us, to help us grow. For a long time I have tried to figure out what God has been preparing me for...why he put so many obstacles on my course. It had to be for some reason. The reason there has been such an abundance of pain and struggle in my life... because God wants me to be able to appreciate the full spectrum of awesome he has in store for me. I had to learn how benefit from the pain, to look at suffering as a gift, which in turn softens it. To learn from every experience, and every person no matter how unpleasant. My life is going to be amazing...it already is. The people who have been so meticulously placed along the way, the friends I have around me now... The path I am on... all part of a huge, perfect plan for a life of abundance. Without the suffering...the joy would just not be the same. I am a very blessed person to have experienced so much pain in life, come out the other end, moved forward, and cultivated a life which is unimaginably amazing. And right now, I couldnt be anymore grateful for it, and right now.... I can’t be any more excited to see what my future has in store for me.
