I saw this Movie today...Meet the Mormons! What I thought it was going to be turned out to be very much the opposite of what it was. It was the story of six pretty amazing people. It wasnt about the Mormon Faith it was just about Mormons with faith... each of the six stories was very different but all were heart touching. It was not designed to convert anyone but rather to help people understand that people are all pretty much the same. We all have dreams, hopes and desires and that all those things happen when we stop focusing on us and turn our focus towards others. So if you want to see a pure feel good movie this is one to see. You wont go in one religion and come out the other side a Mormon. But you will come out with a feeling that much good can be done in the world and that we all can and ought to do more! I am a Mormon and what I appreciated about this film is that it finally started to dispel many of the myths about Mormons. It proved that Mormons come in all shapes, sizes, backgrounds, colors, genders and cultures. It proved that people are people and we all have more in common than we have differences. I promise regardless of your religion or if your not religious you will still enjoy this uplifting film!
