I saw this video, tribute to the SAS, the definition of a true team. Watching this video illustrates what basketball is all about. The spurs dont have a Kobe, Lebron, KD, etc etc, and lots of people dont like the spurs because their not flashy. The spurs may not have those types of stars, but they stars such as Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobli, Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green, Boris Diaw, Tiago Splitter, Patty Mills, and so on. These guys are not the big stars, but they all play together, for one another, and thats what makes them great. Lots of people dont give the spurs enough respect and you dont hear about people talking about the spurs because people tend to 24 hours on ESPN hearing Lebron drop 61 over Charlotte, then the next night only drop 10 or non stop talk about where Dwight Howard will go because he cant make up his mind for the million time. People start talking about the spurs when the win. Best record in the NBA, #1 in NBA playoffs, NBA coach of the year, NBA executive of the year, back in the western conference finals, in the playoffs for the 19th straight time, & yet, people look the other way. Thats what makes the spurs great, they dont care if they dont get the spotlight on them 24/7 all they care about is winning. In the words of Tim Duncan Good, Better, Best.
