I saw what must have been a 35-year old Liberty Punk at SMF two nights ago, flying in from Eugene. Decked out in full regalia, soup to nuts. Even had the little butt-flap thing. He was a good 30 lbs overweight -- which is not punk at all -- and was pulling a lovely blue, hard-sided rolling carryon bag with a pull-up handle. I wanted to walk up to him, touch him on the forearm or shoulder, look him in the eye and say: I see you.
