I see black lives matter, cops lives matter. Well heres the thing, JESUS came and died for ALL lives not just one or the other. The purpose behind identifying each is to raise awareness and it is important to let it be known that each matter. God is NO respecter of persons. He loves one just as much as the other. Skin color, social status, the amount in our bank account may make us someone more important in the eyes of man but it has no affect on Gods love for us. To say that God loves one skin color more than another is to say God doesnt love His own creation, which is wrong! Scripture says do not give the enemy a foothold and that is exactly what many are doing today with a racial war. It is the enemies ultimate goal, DIVISION. This is NOT OF GOD!!! Gods desire for us is RECONCILIATION to Himself through Christ and for us to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. Beloved, it does not begin in the White House, in our government leaders, with violence, or acting out in sinful ways, IT BEGINS when we choose to LOVE AND FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER. It begins when we choose CHRIST and to love as He loves, forgive as He forgives, not like the world. It takes YOU AND ME choosing that we will not wait for those in government to do the right thing, but we will do what is right. If you are standing on one side of the fence or the other on this issue, you no matter what color your skin, are part of the problem not the solution. We must choose to love one another. For me personally, I have always raised my children to LOVE everyone. We are no more loved by God than anyone of a different color or nationality. Ive also always taught my children to RESPECT those in authority over them no matter if they agree with them or not. God didnt say we had to agree with everyone, He said for us to LOVE AND RESPECT!!! This is where sadly many are going wrong. It breaks my heart that the color of skin could divide us. We must stop seeing as man sees, looking at the outward appearance and learn to see as God sees which is the heart. Beloved, may we LOVE as God loves, see as God sees, forgive as God forgives and Respect those in authority over us, all for the glory of God.
