I see more TOLERANCE and COEXIST stickers popping up these days. I will say I havent talked to everyone who has one for some are while we are both driving. However, I like to interact with others so I have talked to plenty. The common theme is towards the judge mental mindset of organize religion but specifically Christianity. (A few have them because they are trending) The issue though isnt between my belief and a lifestyle or my faith in Christ and others who place their faith elsewhere. The problem is with people not wanting to be held accountable for their lives beyond themselves. Christians are called to love one another and not in hypocrisy. Therefore can I coexist with other people? Absolutely. Since my faith is in Christ and what the Bible says. Can I be tolerant of others? That question is not for me......but for God. You see the question is about being tolerant of what??? I do not decide morality or what is right or wrong to God. He does. So can I personal tolerate others? Yes, but it doesnt mean I agree with you or that as a follower of Christ I am not going to share with you what I believe. (Most want that to stop) For the few relativist that I encounter that believe everyone is right just because they believe they are and all beliefs are equal...... That is an impossibility in every aspect of knowledge from science, history, theology, philosophy and Im sure even in cooking. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1 ESV) Ask, can I coexist with God and can He remain Holy being tolerant towards me. Since He created, those are questions for Him, not those who follow Him. Love in action, speak in truth and walk in humility.
