I see people attempting to justify the lunacy occurring sporadically in a few protests as people just being angry. We can not be angry and destroy property and stores in our own neighborhoods. This is not the way! This is not the answer! We have to use this opportunity to enact change for the better. We have been shown that our lives ore meaningless, why add to that thought process? I sit here hurting, in physical pain and while these occurrences are few and far between and most of us have acted resiliently and with dignity we have to separate ourselves from the ignorance if that ignorance absolves itself from enlightenment. We must show that our lives matter! The rainbow of people who have attended these rallies across the country have clearly spoken and said that they understand how we as a people feel. They understand that we are human beings and that we are more than nothing. If you are angry, be angry and write a letter! Be angry and register to vote! Be angry and get involved within your community! Be angry and hold your legislators accountable for passing laws for legal vigilantism! This is what we must now do! Use your anger and energy to ensure that this never happens again and we must use the very system that many have said is against us, against those who persecute us. WE ARE THE PEOPLE and our government is made up OF THE PEOPLE AND BY THE PEOPLE.
