I see so many misogynist posts on social media that it is becoming a norm, and this is a problem. Example: someone posted that in order to make a women behave when she is acting up, it can be fixed by certain actions in the bedroom. It is just bothersome that people actually have this kind of mindset, and they dont see that if they think this is a way to make their females behave, then THEY are the problem. And this is just an example. I have seen jokes about domestic abuse as well as rape jokes, victim blaming, and the assumption that a womans place is to be submissive in the kitchen with no back talk. I guess it was wishful thinking that we would be better than that in 2014.
